questions about clear labels for invitaitons

Well after a long long evening on Photoshop I finally was able to figure out how to type in the address.Anyway I have two questions. I wanted to ask how would you address couples with children under 16yrs of age? Do you include them and if so how would you word it?
The next question, I printed a sample labels and after 40minutes the ink smudged. How could I get it to dry up faster?
This is so stressful and to think I sitll have to do the seating chart..............

for the families with kids under 16 - i would adress them :
The Smith Family

WIth kids under 16 -- the outer envelop is addressed to

Mr and Mrs John Doe

and then on the inner envelope you put

Mr and Mrs John Doe
Jack and Sue ( k ids names)
