At my last fitting, we decided that I need to wear a bra under my strapless gown. My seamstress (Phyllis from Bridal Elegance) gave me a cup size bigger than I usually wear and said it was the right size. She said that in order to sew the cups into the bra, we need to order the bigger bra cup size so that they fit.
Does this make sense to anyone else? Did you have to get a size bigger than you usually wear?

i was measured for my bra......my strapless is a 32D and I usualy wear 34 C so I would suggest going and getting fitted but in strapless the sizes are a little different

I bought a coset fitting bra from Phyllis that was my size (34B), and then she added cups into the bra for me, so it made it bigger, but let me tell you, after dancing all night long - you will thank her for that extra room/padding!!!

I usually wear a 40DD but when I went to get my bra they fitted me for a 44F and it was perfect. These bra fit odd so just trus them...I did and it fit as if I was wearing my regular bra, and it was comfortable
