Im getting married at Crest Hollow Country Club...my question is, are my FI and I responsible for creating our own menus, meaning the physical menu, or does Crest Hollow make menus for us?
I don't know about CH. You can call them and find out if they supply them for you. Some brides make thier own menu's so that they match with the theme of the wedding.
i know when we were a guest there....we didnt have menus so im assuming you would make them?!
I would call them. My RH provides them and lucky for me they match my theme. If they do provide them they would only have a standard and have your names printed on them, so if you want it to match your theme you would have to do that yourself.
I'm getting married there the week before you :) My friend got married in April and there were no menus. I dont' think they provide it b/c it wasn't on the list!
i've actually never been to a wedding where there were menus on the table... i'm guessing most people take care of them themselves if they are going to have them. we are.
i think menus are the sole discretion of the bride/couple. i've been to weddings with no menu. the waiters simply ask guests 'the beef, the chicken or the fish' which is why i made menus. i think that the way most waiters tend to ask takes away from the elegance so at least if they do ask that way, the guest can reply withsomething nice instead of 'beef' that and you can let them see what's ahead and what they're really eating!
Not sure about CH but some places do provide the menus for you. Mine does.
i am getting married there in May.. i didnt even think of this... and just looked at what is included.. i do not see menus.. looks like it one more thing to add to my TO DO list
