I just finished the guest list and we have 257 adults invited and 9 kids.
In your experience, did the 20% rule always work?

yeah, I'm worried too. I told the hall 176 and have 220 so far and FH just told me he's adding 10 tomorrow

I think so Cindy. Dont forget that many people may come solo instead of bringing a date! Do you have many OOTers?

EDIT Also...I have noticed the more people you invite..the higher your no ratio is. The smaller weddings usually mean its only bestest best friends and families and they havre a higher yes ratio. I know that is a weird way to put it but it seems to be that way!

I found that my % was a little higher. We invited everyone with dates and none of my single friends brought one.
