Questions About Showers

I have a couple of questions about the bridal shower.

1. Who is invited? Are people not invited tot he wedding invited to the shower? Do you invite the female guests of all of the males coming to the wedding?

2. For those of you who picked out/made your favors, did you know about your shower, or did you just make the favors and give them to the person throwing the shower?

women who are close to you, mom, and FMIL are invited.... all of them should be invited to the wedding (unless this is a work shower)... not all female wedding guests are invited... only the ones who know you.

I'm not doing much of anything for the shower. I'm just giving my opinion when asked...

Only females are invited. Only women who are invited to the wedding are invited to the shower. Its usually only close friends, family, and family friends.

Usually the bride doesnt do anything for the shower....normally whoever is throwing it will take care of the favors.
