Questions for our '09 Newlyweds

1)How did you feel when the wedding ended?
2)How do you feel now that it's over?
3) If you never lived w. 'DH' before the wedding, how is it now? If you did live w. DH, has anything changed?
4) Do you miss wedding planning?
5) when do you plan on making babies?

I will go first:

1) When the last song played, I remember thinking: 'OMG, FINALY! It's over, I can have my life back!!!! What a great night!!!! '

2) Now, I feel like I need to catch up w. 'real' life and catch up on all the work I def. didn't do while wedding planning.
But it's def. nice to finally feel like I have time to run my errands or pay for different things that are not wedding related.

3) We didn't live together beforehand, and this past week and a half has been really good so far.
It feels really nice to have someone to come home to (That isn't your parents). We are def. still testing out our comfort zones, and trying to establish our expectations and norms etc. I was afraid that we wouldnt feel comfortable around each other 24-7 , but thankfully that has not been the case. I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised w. his behavior and how sweet he is. Anyway, I guess that's why they call it the 'honeymoon state'.

4) Hell no!!!! I am so happy that it's over! dont get me wrong, I loved planning the wedding, but I am looking forward to diff. projects now, such as fixing up our house, opening up our school and moving up in my career.

5) No plans to make babies for another 2 years...BUT practice makes perfect

1)How did you feel when the wedding ended? I wanted to keep dancing! I was also hungry, even though I was able to eat a bit, so we went to his mom's house and ate some leftovers while we were dropping off my dress, our presents, etc. It was such a whirlwind too, because we left the next morning for our HM and we didn't really have time to think about it all being over until a few weeks after the wedding.

2)How do you feel now that it's over? I sort of want another party!

3) If you never lived w. 'DH' before the wedding, how is it now? If you did live w. DH, has anything changed? We lived together before, and honestly not much changed.

4) Do you miss wedding planning? I didn't do tons of planning, DH really look the lead on that. I know he misses having something to plan! I have even suggested that he think about becoming a wedding/event planner because he was really organized and great about everything.

5) when do you plan on making babies? DH and I decided not to discuss it until our 1 year anniversary.

1)How did you feel when the wedding ended?

I was so tired! Our wedding ended at 3am!

2)How do you feel now that it's over?

I feel better now, but I definitely had post wedding blues. I never thought that would be me, esp since we had a short engagement (10 mo) and all through the planning i couldn't wait for it to be over and be married.

3) If you never lived w. 'DH' before the wedding, how is it now? If you did live w. DH, has anything changed?

We lived together before and nothing has changed. Example: On the Monday we were back from our HM, 'what do you want for dinner?' came up and DH says, 'wow, we're really right back into our old routine!'

4) Do you miss wedding planning?

sort of. it's strange. i certainly don't miss the stress....i was pretty stress free until about 1-2 months before. i was crying almost every day...i definitely don't miss that! although, the stress was mostly about our monster RD - there were 100 people at it. but i liked the planning. i think i might go into wedding planning...except i don't like the idea of working on the weekends!

5) when do you plan on making babies?

not sure yet - i think DH will one day say to me 'let's make a baby' and we will.

1. I was so happy & relieved that everything went perfect & so amazing!! IWE FELLT FABULOUS! & then we were tired. We couldnt wait to get away!

2. Im kind of happy that everything is done. I couldnt have asked for a more perfect day. So im really happy with that!

4. I dont miss wedding planning. Now im 3rd house hunting! lol

5. We want to start baby makin in about 6 months!

1. I felt great that it was finally over but a little sad because I wanted to party more

2. Honestly It feels great to back to 'normal'. We're able to catch up with a lot of things that were neglected during the planning process.

3. We already lived together so not much has changed except i'm cooking more!!!

4. I do and don't. it was a PIA while I was planning but now that it's over, I'm waiting for someone else to get engaged so I can help plan theirs. It's always better when it's not your own

5. We already have a 4yr old so we'll be working on his little bro or sis sometime over the summer

1)How did you feel when the wedding ended?
COMPLETELY RELIEVED but also a little sad that it was over! I still wanted to party!

2)How do you feel now that it's over?
HAPPY that it's over. I've been sick for the last month and a half though so I haven't really gotten to truly enjoy married life just yet :(

3) If you never lived w. 'DH' before the wedding, how is it now? If you did live w. DH, has anything changed?
NOTHING has changed except that we feel closer. It's so nice :)

4) Do you miss wedding planning?
NOT AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5) when do you plan on making babies?
Probably after the summer.
