Since I just booked my venue today, I want to book photographer and videographer soon
What kind of questions should I been asking?? I know Rcotter mentioned something before about having the rights to all your photos. Which is something I definitely want but never would have thought to ask. I would have assumed all the pictures were mine anyway lol

I agree. Make sure you get all proofs, retouch and not. Ask about retouching not all photographers include it, they do charge extra. Ask about the type of videography they do - 'behinds the scenes' or 'ESPN recap type'. If they do hourly ask what the day actually includes. If it's for the package make sure it includes save the dates and thank you on top of at least one album and actual prints. And definitely make sure that you know all the rules for complimentary eshoots. You'd be surprised how little is involved in a 'complimentary shoot'.

Thank you! Is patken doing your albums too? I'm thinking if it would be cheaper to have them do the photos and edit them and do my own albums

Yes. Im only getting one album. I wanted ours done by them. It was part of the package. During your meetings you should definitely ask for a package prices with and without album(s).

Sure! No prob. If you need them for two days they may also give u an overall package for that as well. They may be used to multiple day weddings. I would def mention that during the meetings.
