Questions for the POB past or present girls

1. Did you purchase your dress from the POB Manhattan or LI location? What was your experience with the alterations at either location? Is it a can't loose situation??

2. If you requested the addition of extra crinoline, did you do this at the time of purchase or at your 1st fitting was it determined? Also, is it recommended to add a slip regardless? If you also added a slip, did you have it sewn in?

hi there. I ordered my dress from the POB in Roslyn. The dress isn't scheduled to come in until November - so I can't really answer answer the question regarding alterations... So far I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with that salon (also order my BM and jr BM dresses from there). I did order extra crinoline at the time of purchase - only because I knew I wanted it when I ordered the dress. I am sure you can add it after you order it...but I am not sure. Also, I did not add/order a slip.
