Questions for the Venue

So last night I had one of my meetings with my venue to discuss the menu, cake, etc.

I had a list of questions but I still feel like there are things I didn't think of.

Does anyone have any good questions to ask the venue when doing these final arrangements?

Thanks

Questions for the Venue - Long Island Weddings

I would ask about valet parking and make sure there will be more than one attendant. It stinks to have to wait forever for the valet to get your car at the end of the night (as a guest)

Same about coat check (I see you're in november) Make sure it's included so guests don't have to carry their coats around.

Ask about a timeline. When is the earliest you can get to the venue, will they have food and drinks out for your bridal party. When will the cake cutting be, when will the first dance be, etc.

Ask if they will let you bring plates home of people that no show (there will be at least one, there always is).

That's all I can think of off the top of my head that I asked at my meeting.

Questions for the Venue - Long Island Weddings

Good call on those questions, I didn't ask ay of those hahaha.

I believe there are multiple valet attendants thank goodness and I believe we take home food. Which is great because we are Thanksgiving Eve so it will help not to have to cook the following day.

But I like the idea of asking of a timeline which is great.

Thanks for the help.
