Questions for Wedding Planner??

I have a meeting tonight with a wedding planner and I'm really excited!! Anyone have any advice as to what I should specifically ask her? I'll let you guys know how it goes!

Questions for Wedding Planner??

I hired a day coordinator and it was one of the best decisions I made. They really helped me out the entire week before the wedding even though she was only hired for the day off. If I hadn't planned my own wedding I would have hired her to do the whole thing. She was a pleasure to work with. So my first suggestion is definitely feel out who you're meeting with. Last thing you want is to work with someone you're uncomfortable with. However, you also want someone who take command in your absence and get what you want from vendors in the end. Questions you should ask are: what exactly are you paying for - services wise? How much of the little tedious stuff can they do to help you with? How involved are you in the process? (Wedding planners are supposed to help not make it worse on the bride. That's why I'm asking.) Do they do all the biding or do you go with them? What choices are left up to you? Do they schedule menu tastings or just cake tasting? Do they provide you with a list of tipping suggestion for vendors? Trust me it helps when you have to come to that. It's hard not knowing what's the proper tip amount and for who. Hope that helps. Good luck with your meeting and congratulations on your upcoming wedding.
