Questions to ask photographers....?

Is there a list out there of questions to ask photographers when you go to an appt.??

I'm going to meet with some this weekend, and I don't know what to ask!

Ummm I dont know about a list... but i can tell you things we came across...

We asked to look at each photographers album just to see what kind of different shots everyone took...
We also asked for our engagement pics to be with the photographer we wanted to choose for our wedding.. Also we asked if that person was available to speak too while we were there that way we could see if our personalities mesh. Im not much of a picture person so for me spending this much money on pictures is a big deal... Im sure I was annoying with all my question but oh well. Ask whats included in your package and how much add ons are... If you end up signing a contract have the 'add on' prices written in that way in 2008 they wont charge you more. Ask if you pay cash if the company will wave the tax (patken did not wave the tax for us)
Ask if you get a proofs album and if they will post the proofs online...
Ask them to break down the package for what size pictures you will receive and if you arent interested in that one can you get a bunch of smaller ones... My photographer lets u have a gigantor pic but im soo not interested in that so i traded that out for five more 5x7's

One more thing... Me and fh love black and white photography or black and white with a splash of color... we wanted to make sure that lets say they took the pic in color we could have it changed to black and white for our album without an extra charge...

Make sure you see what kind of photos they take vs what you like candids, poses and whatnot...
