do you go first...then go back for sample...and THEN book?
im clueless?
i also am so lost on theme/colors
maybe if i go to florist and see stuff and see what's in season it will help me make a decision is this backwards?

Re: questionsss about flowers
Honestly, I only looked at one florist so I'm not much help lol. FH's cousins both used Flowers By Brian and loved them so I went in thinking if I liked the consultant and the sample I was booking.
At the first appointment I told them what I was looking for and what my budget was. They did there best to work with my budget and I went back the next week to see the sample - I loved it so I booked. FBB required a 20% deposit - I figured that was standard, we used a credit card for the deposit.
As for theme - I don't have one. I really wanted an elegant romantic look so my cp's are all white with lots of candles. Hope that helped!!

Re: questionsss about flowers
thanks!
highly considering FBB
and im totally OK booking on the spot if he gets it right and price is right
but FH wants to look at 2 other florists so we can gauge pricing better

We went with flowers by B U R T O N S, they were a least $1000 less then they other places we looked at and my cousin used them and loved them. They require a $50 deposit.

Re: questionsss about flowers
I went to a few florists. I wanted to compare ideas and pricing. FBB did a sample but assumed that I was going to book right away and I was hesitant and they didn't email me back when I had questions. I am going to PWP to see a sample in 2 weeks and will most likely go with them. I think you should always see a sample before booking....

Re: questionsss about flowers
I went to see only pedestals and FBB.
I told both I wanted to see a sample before i book anything. Pedestals was very reluctant to give me a sample but FBB did- I went in a second time to FBB, I saw the sample, liked it, then stacey had the contract written up based on what I told her I wanted during the 1st appointment.
We paid a 20% depsit and the rest doesnt have to be paid until 2 weeks before.

Ditto. They will do a sample at request only if you book.

Re: questionsss about flowers
We also went with bur tons after looking at i think five florist they had the best price for what we wanted. I had emailed them a photo I took at another florist of something I liked and asked them to replicate it adding the other things I wanted. When we went in to sign the contract they had the sample ready for us.
