My photographer is very traditional so I was thinking of also hiring someone for the day to shoot some photojournalistic pics on a digital cd for about $400 (I've been quoted on craigslist) You guys think this is a good idea?

Yup. Im having a second photographer for photojournalism too. Just make sure you get hi-res files on your CD or it may not be worth it.

a photojournalsim photgrapher is $950 for us...oh wait..we're getting a 'discount' $850...but i mean im already paying over $5000 and i really wanted it..but i mean can i afford that much more? i think its so worth it though so for that price you got i so would

I think that sounds like its worth it...We aren't having any 'photojournalistic' photographers...I kind of wish we had

I would definetly go for it....i didn't get one and it was the BIGGEST Regret of my entire wedding. All i mainly have are posed shots which i hate.

i would do it! just make sure that theres nothing in your other photographers contract about him being the only professional allowed to shoot pictures that day..... ours had something in there like that... but if theres not, then go for it!

Also, tell your main photographer about it. They have to work together, so you want to be sure they don't step on each other.
