quick addressing question

If a couple is being invited but you are addressing them both by names (as apposed to 'guest'), if you only know the woman, and the man you never met, do you still write the mans name first or do you write the womans name first out of respect since you know her?

oh, and they live together

(cuz when they dont live together im putting the womans name first whose house we are mailing it to regardless, since i wouldnt send something to someones house with a persons name first who doesnt live there, kwim)

I'm going to do it like this....

Ms. Jane Doe
Mr. John Smith
1 Elm St

I would put your friends name first bc the guy is her guest...even if you are putting the name

What if you had a cousin and he was dating someone for a while now, not engaged...and you don' t know her last name...how would you address it?

FH called his mother and she hasn't gotten an answer yet. I said to give me the number and I will call....they won't give me the number. I think FMIL is just doing anything and everything to stir the pot!!!!!! FMFML

ITA! I'd go with whoever you know best and you're actually inviting!
