Quick invite question...
Our invite says our names and then 'together with their parents'...does that mean they helped pay...or is it just more like without them...we wouldn't be here? How do you interpret that?

i would say they are helping you with the wedding.
I guess people may think that they contributed financially. I used that on my invites and our parents didnt contribute. I also know a few other people who did this and their parents did not contribute..
I am not really sure, I know that I did it the traditional way and neither parent helped us pay for the wedding, i just didn't want them to feel bad. It probably doesn't really matter either, lol.
Usally it means they are helping you pay I think. FH parents are not giving us one cent but we put that b/c I feel its nice. Even if they are not giving us anything.
I took it as...if it weren't for them, then we wouldn't be here. It's a celebration of them too. But FH thinks it will come off sounding like they helped pay for the wedding. They are helping in their own ways, but FH and I are paying for everything. Should I still use it?
I think it can be either one. We used 'together with their families' because each have daughters, and wanted everyone to be included.
