QUICK INVITE WORDING HELP

honestly, im confused....

if its 'together with their families', doesnt that mean you are also hosting/inviting? but then it switches to the third person passive with 'presence is requested'

also, im a bit confused with the word 'this' on the 2nd line...since its a future event

maybe its just friday and im thinkin weird tho....
