Quick maybe silly question but.....

For those getting married at a church...who do you give the rice/bubbles to to hand out and who do you give the programs too? Also.. do you give them to the people the day before the wedding and have them bring them to the church?????? Are they dropped off at the church the day before and the person is to get them from the church??



Silly but just wanted to know the best way to do this?\

Usually you drop items off the day before and appoint an usher or friend to pass the items out. I have also attended weddings where the programs were simply set out in a basket at the end of the aisle so people could take them as they sat down. Hope this helps you.

This is what I was going to say!

Make sure you ask somebody to take care of this!! I worked so hard on our programs and we dropped them off at the church the night before, with the promise that someone would put them in the basket and place them at the back of the church... well nobody did it. In fact, we're still trying to find out where the programs are! The parish office seems to have no clue about them and it has been almost 2 months. So, whatever you do, make sure you choose someone you trust to take care of this job. I was so disappointed that no one got to see the nice programs I worked so hard on.

oH NOOOO That's terrible!!

We're droppiong everything off at the church when we do the rehearsal. I've designated Fh's 3 nieces that aren't part of the wedding to be the greeter's and they will hand out the weddingrice and programs, as well as direct people to open seats.
