quick ques. about pics...

I am going for my engagement shoot this weekend... should I tip our photographer?

It depends, I did but we went to the city down to the village, south street seaport and times square. They took a ton of pics.

If we were going to take pics in a studio, i don't think i would have given a big tip or any.

It depends on what you think.

I didn't tip mine , although I don't feel that bad considering our package was five grand.

I wasn't planning on tipping for the casual shoot. It will be the same photographer as for the wedding, he'll get a nice tip then. Is that wrong?

I haven't even thought about that. Most likely I will tip now that it has been brought to my attention.

I guess 15% - 20% of what the Casual Day costs? Duet brides is that right? Is that what I should tip?

I am so glad someone else spent this much for photographers! My package cost that much and I was begining to think I am the only one spending so much money on just the photo

I didn't even think about tipping mine either for the 'practice session' as he calls it...I'm definitely not going to tip him, since I'm also paying a ton- $4300!

we are having our e-pics done on a saturday since my FH is upstate right now (we met at school and I am just home trying to save some money) so I think I am going to give him a little something as a way of saying thanks for giving us an appointment on a saturday...
