I dont trust the girl one bit for a first timer. It looks good, but a little darker than I would have liked. Then again, I have to see what it looks like after I shower. I feel weird going topless and letting some stranger spray tan 'the girls' i dunno...

Ahhh that stinks!!! You MUST go topless. I thought I told you that :( Well you live and learn!! If you're having makeup done for your b-pics they can definitely do something for your boobies. What I would do though, is go to CVS and buy the Aveeno brand sunless tan enhancer cream. Like the Jergens one but better. Exfoliate your boobies well and put the cream on for a couple of days just where you want the color. It will blend in by the weekend for sure!!!! Good luck!!!!

I went to another Beach Bum since it was closer to my house, I should have gone to the girl you recommended. I am not really freaking out yet bc I cannot change anything now. I did put on my Dove Energy Glow lotion last night and it did blur the lines a bit so its not too bad. I will re-apply it tonight and see what happens.

which beach bum did you go to?

Honestly that's TERRIBLE and UNPROFESSIONAL of this girl and that salon. First off they are supposed to give you detailed instructions and tell you what to wear there, inside and home!
Listen anyone who is interested in airbrush Sundara is the place to go. The city may be out of the way for some of you girks but this place is worth it. Its 1 girl who runs the place and does the spray tan. She makes you feel comfy and gives you details on how to prepare, what to wear and how to take care of the tan to make it last.
That's so messed up they didn't tell you I'm sorry hun :(

I have a question about that place... I have never did airbrushing.. usually just tanning (and that was like years ago) ... does the airbrush rub off on your clothes? Im scared of it staining my beautiful wedding dress! lol Plus Im going to the HM after and I dont want the sun to damage my skin with the airbrush .. cause its like makeup in your body..so if that gets in your pores, I dont know if thats good for you?

I did it for other events and I NEVER had it rub off on my dresses, BUT I also never wore a white dress. I actually called her today to ask her that and she said she hasnt had anyone tell her it rubs off. It usually doesnt but what she suggests is to come in beforehand and after you shower wear a white shirt and see if anything comes off on it. But shes never had an issue with it rubbing off.
The only time it rubs off on your clothes is from the initial spray. When you go there she says wear loose fitting clothes that you dont care about because it will rub off BUT IT ALL WASHES OUT. Its all water based so it washes out of the clothes and doesnt stain.
Its DEF not bad for you and CANT be any worse than actual tanning =/ You exfoliate before you go, you wear loose clothes, I wear a G string only when she sprays me, I wear no bra home and loose shirt and sweatpants, you have to wait 24 hours before showering, and the first shower is without soap. After that you can use soap but no exfoliating or scrubs or loofah when you wash. Just put soap on your hands to wash yourself. For me pale or with a lil color, it generally has just faded away. I never had it come off in spots or anything.

I gotta tell ya, because I am on the hunt for a perfect faux tan (I am going to try airbrushing in the upcoming weeks), that I have been using the Neutrogena spray mist self tanner and it looks great and very natural (yup, good ole $9 at Target). I just wanted to try it to see if it would actually work and so far so good. It's definitely something that has gotten BETTER the more x I use it, the first time it was a little patchy just because I was soooooo pale and prob used a little to much. But once I started applying every other day, it builds up on itself and gradually becomes more even. I don't think I'd do it for the day of (I'm getting marred in Sept and hope to be pretty tan by the end of the summer) but as a little boost this stuff has been pretty good. Just thought I'd share!

I would go back there, and ask her to re-spray you in those areas (for free!). She def should have mentioned what to wear beforehand. I have gotten airbrushed spray tanned a few times, and honestly, the color tones down ALOT after you shower a few times. Also, I had really bad tan lines when I did my b-pics (I live in fL, so I have a decent tan year round), and my a$$ was really white. You couldnt really tell in the pics. I dont think its gonna show up too much, dont worry.

When you do airbrush your usually topless and I wear a G String.

I go to Sundara in the city. This place is SICK! I've gone there a few times for parties and plan on going before my wedding. No matter if your pale as a ghost or have a lil color this girl makes you look amazing and totally natural! They have ALL RAVE reviews on citysearch. If anyone wants info FM me :))

too bad I didnt read this BEFORE I went because I wore an old bathing suit and my tube top bathing suit. I was under the impression that I would be able to rub it in after she sprayed, but mid way through I asked if she could spray while I hold a part of my top down and she said she couldnt bc it would overlap what she already sprayed. Now I have a huge white @ss and a white band around my chest. I have bpics on FRIDAY!!! Which I told her about!!! She knew it was my first time doing this, she could have warned me. She was like yea thats why people usually go topless. Gee thanks.
Im hoping that the MU artist can help me out wih my top or maybe even the photographer could even airbrush the photo afterwards. Ugh I dunno what to do

Oh no!! The girl should have warned you! Maybe you can reschedule with the photog?
