honestly, who BM brings is unfortunately her choice......if she wants to bring him, I don't know if saying no is the right thing. you would have invited her + guest anyway, right?

i would invite him. if they're willing to deal with the awkwardness, then let her invite who she wants to invite. i doubt you will notice anything at all.

i doubt the family would do anything out of line to ruin the brides day.

actually, since when we sent out invites it was in the height of the drama/divorce, we just invited her and her daughter (oh yeah, add some drama there). her family will be there. and she has ALOT of friends that will be there too. so no, we didnt do the '+ guest', since her closest friends are already invited and her hubby was soon-to-b her ex at the moment....

I would allow him to come. They are trying to work things out and this might help them. It will be uncomfortable for him knowing everyone knows what he did but thats on him.

I think he should definitely be invited - if she wants to bring him she should be able to - he is technically still her husband and she is trying to make her marriage work.

ITA with everyone. it wouldn't be right to say who her own guest should be, especially since it's her husband. She knows her family will be there, and I don't think she would have suggested it if she thought it would cause too much trouble.

ETA: Sorry, didn't realize that you didn't put the + 1. I still think you should let him come, just to at least be supportive to her.

Tough call. I think in the end you need to make your BM happy. If her and her H decided to work it out and shes fine with her family being around him then I think thats all you can do. If you dont invite him shes going to be resentful and not enjoy herself and you have bigger things to worry about on your wedding day. As long as you are positive that there will be absolutely NO DRAMA.
