quick review of the bridal suite of bayshore and fantasia bridal

Thank you ladies for convincing me to go back to fantasia!! CANDY go to candy! She was amazing!!! She had so many ideas for me for what I wanted! She came in an hr early (store didn't open till 12, she came in at 11) I had an hr abd half appointment, she took me for 2 hrs!! And this is a great place for plus size brides!!! They had almost 2 if every dress!! One in plus one in a size 10!!

Bridal suite of bayshore on the other hand had almost no plus size dresses!! And the consultant, I think Carol, had no pins to pin me in the dresses which was annoying bc she was just holding the dress tight and I couldn't move to see what I looked like with her holding me. I had to tell her a few times no ball gowns she insisted on bringing me ball gowns, probably bc that's all they had in plus sizes. She just wasn't very fun either, personally I didn't have fun there I left kinda depressed bc nothing fit, and the ones that did I didn't like or I couldn't tell what it looked like.

Glad you had a positive experience at Fantasia! Isn't it so fun trying on dresses? Lol.

Yes!! But the consultant has to be good too! Ugh the boring lady at bayshore though they make it kinda boring and not exciting! ..we laughed so hard at fantasia I had the best time!

i'm surprised. I LOVED bridal suite in Bayshore. I was actually upset I ended up finding my dress somewhere else because I loved my consultant so much.

She kept brining me things I didn't like and sizes that were too small. The smallest I could get on was a 14, I got big hips lol. My other problem I should have mentioned, my mother and I think they change the size tags! I tried on a size 16 in fantasia abs bc it was a coreset back it almost fit. My aunt couldn't make it all the way out there so she met us at bayshore and they had the same dress in a size 20 and I thought nice my aunt can see it and I can get a better idea of fit.....it was tighter then the 16 from the other store! I didn't understand them my mother said the bigger the size the more money, so they probably change the size.....now idk of this is true! We r guessing but it was strange how the EXACTsame dress, the 16 in one store fit better then a 20 in the other store!!

I should have asked u ladies, which consultant to ask for!! Bc someone recommend candy and she really was amazing!!

Thanks for the review! I really wanted to go to Fantasia because RP is a lot closer to me than Bridal Suite, but they don't have Mori Lee dresses, which I really love! So I was thinking about trying Bridal Suite. Did you find any dresses that you really liked?! Were you able to try on the one that you had in mind?

Glad you had a great experience at Fantasia! I LOVE them there, everybody I've worked with has been so fantastic.

Rocky point is an hour from me which sucks!! BUT candy was totally with it! I tried in the one I had my heart set on......it's hard to tell bc it was 5s sizes too big....but I didn't love it...it was more drama in the neck then in the front! Fantasia didn't have mori.lee samples and bridal suite didn't have any in plus size for me to try on! Fyi!!

She did say to try back bc they get more dresses ask the time but I only tired in like 6 dresses abd most of them were 14!

Ordered my dress from Fantasia. Candy was my first appt and was an absolute doll. All the girls are so sweet. I love them there!!

Hmmm. Weird, They had a whole section (on the right) of plus size dresses. And all the ones I tried on we're like a size 20, maybe the selection was limited just for the style or price point you were looking for in particular. I just don't want to discourage other girls from looking there because they really did have the biggest selection. Not just for me but I've gone with othe plus size friends who had a similar experiance with many many samples.
