Quick Review - The Royalton at Roslyn Country Club
My cousin had his wedding here Friday night and all I can say is AMAZING!!! The place is abolutely gorgeous!! They had their ceremony there outside under a heated tent and it looked magical. Like something out of a movie with the flowers and the lighting and pillar candles down the aisle - it was beautiful. The food was great - CH I tried the fried calamari, cheeses, olives, marinated artichokes, macaroni and cheese, mussles, eggplant rolontini, little panini sandwiches, they had griiled cheese and mini hamburgeres which were very good also! I didn't eat the salad, but FH had both his and mine and said it was great. I had the red snapper for dinner which was out of this world. FH had the filet mignon which was also melt in your mouth unbelievable. The snapper came over a bed of spinach and risotto which was amazing and the filet came with sweet potato fries and an asparagus and carrot bundle - also very good. The Dessert Cafe (VH) was also unbelievable. Althought I did not have everything because I saw the chocolate fountain and made a beeline for that, I heard people raving about all the desserts the rest of the night. I did have a piece of the cake which was delicious. The service was also great!! Royalton brides have abolutely nothing to worry about!! The place is amazing!!!
