Quick update on ex situation

Well, ladies, I spoke to my friend and found out the truth. Was not an ongoing thing as he would have liked me to believe. It happened one time, against her will. And then he tried to pursue her for months afterward. Do I wish I'd found out sooner? Yes, but maybe things would not have turned out as wonderful as they did for FH & I if I had. That's how I have to look at it.

Anyway, our friendship is intact and we have decided that we do not want to hear his name mentioned ever again. I just hate that he has been making me feel so horrible the last 2 1/2 years, like I did something wrong, meanwhile, OMG!!

I placed everything in God's hands because stressing about it is not going to help. Please say many, many prayers for FH & I that our wedding day is hassle-free as far as ex is concerned. I'm still nervous but I'll get through it.

im so glad you worked things out with your friend!! your wedding will be amazing, and nothing will let anything happen... i wouldnt worry about that!! just enjoy every minute of your day!!

That's exactly what happened; she knew I wasn't in love with him by the time this took place. And she didn't want to upset all the friendships over him and then when I filed for divorce, there seemed no sense in telling me. But now she was able to let it out finally without being afraid of losing my friendship. I told her no matter what had happened between them, I would have chose her 100 times over him.

I just can't believe how low he sunk by trying to hurt the both of us.
