Does anyone know when you get your wedding video on a DVD, if you can copy them on your own?? Usually you get 3 copies of the DVD and if you need more you have to pay the videographer. I was wondering if you can copy them (I have a DVD copier at home) or are they protected (blocked) by the videographer?? Anyone copied their own wedding videos??

It depends on the company. Some protect them and some dont.

my videographer said we can copy our video--it's not copy protected.
that's also how i negotiated to have 5 copies thrown into the package instead of the standard 3. it costs them nothing to make besides the pennies for the cover.
