i dont know if their is a rule, but I am doing if you are over 21 it will be with guest or if you are engaged or in a serious relationship it will be with guest.

We invited all those that we knew were in serious long term relationships with guests. We also invited all of the people who were traveling to our wedding with guests. Many of them did not bring guests, but I felt it was the right thing to do. My thought was that some of them might not want to travel all that way alone.

You don't think 18 or over?

Re: Quick! What is the rule for

we have a lot of family members that are between the ages of 16 and 21 who are not in a relationship and would just bring any person. We figured it was easier on our guest list and amount of guests we would have. This way the family that is between the ages of 16 and 21 have each other and can hang out and dance together.

We invited all singles with 'and guest' & left the decision up to them.Surprisingly they all decided to come solo.

we are only inviting people with guests if they are in a 'serious' relationship. no way i'm paying over $100pp for someone's 'flavor of the moment'.

we only had one guest between 18-21 and he was invited with a guest...but didn't bring one...

if you have space and money isn't an issue...then 18+ or if they are younger and have been dating someone for 1+ years?

I also made it a point to get everyone's boyfriend/girlfriend's, etc...name for the invite...I didn't like to write 'and guest' if I didn't have to
