Quickie 'Bachelorette' Party Ideas???

On the same scenario

FI and FBIL are taking the GM who's getting married out next Saturday for a quickie 'bachelor' party. Not really per se because it's so last minute but they still wanted to do something for him. So they are taking him out to dinner and up to the casino and give him some $$ to play with. Nothing crazy.

On the same realm I want to take my MOH out. I'm thinking dinner at her fave restaurant then back to one of our homes to watch the new Sex And The City (I know it's not out on DVD yet...) with some desserts. I would take her to the theater to watch it but we both much prefer being at home. =)
I was thinking about taking her to the spa for a massage before dinner but the place I like doesn't have two female masseuse openings on that day. I'm hoping for some cancellations!
But if not what else can we do before dinner?

I thought about a pottery class but I don't think she'll really be into it.

Maybe a cooking class but it seems because of the holiday weekend not many classes are being offered.

Any other suggestions? Thanks!!!

Hi!
Thanks for the idea!

I'm *hoping* that if she has a bridal party for the reception party next year that she will ask me. But no guarantees of course even though she is my MOH.

Anyway, so if she does I'm kinda hoping to hold out on the cooking party idea for the *real* bachelorette party.
Thanks to a LIWer on here!!! who gave me the idea.

Anyhoo, I called back the spa and took the last appointment of the day even though it's one male and one female masseuse. I'm weird like that...but I ****** it up and signed myself up for the dude. And we'll be in adjoining rooms.
So the schedule is spa, dinner (the spa has a really really nice steam/spa/waterfall shower so we can get ready there) at a fancy restaurant so we can get all dressed up then back to one of our houses to watch Sex and The City (which she loves). I plan to have a bottle fher favorite mead wine (neither of us are big drinkers) and some kind of dessert!

What do you think? Does that sound like a nice impromptu 'bachelorette' party?? The 'vow ceremony' was so last minute FI and I are both scrambling to do something for them because they are still getting married!!

The spa idea is really good and just because the one you like is booked doesn't mean they all are! I think there's a website called spafinder that could direct you to other worthy spots!
