But where and what is this Michaels place that everyone is talking about and what is AC Moore? Do they exist in Brooklyn? Is it a large store or a small shop?

Re: Quite Possibly the dumbest question ever asked
ok.
they are 'craft' stores.
they sell card stock, unfished wooden letters, DIY invites, ribbon, candles, if you want votives, they put them on half price for 12 votives in a holder quite often, google the name and look for locations. i know that in queens there's one on union turnpike at woodhaven blvd. it's a really nice one.

Thanks, sometimes I hate living in Brooklyn. We don't have anything here!

They have both stores in Queens....Michael's in Woodside Queens and AC Moore by Union Turnpike!! I personally am a loyal AC Moore shopper!

Try Rag shop - Sometimes they are cheaper.

Re: Quite Possibly the dumbest question ever asked
We don't have it in Brooklyn - I used Rag Shop on 11th Avenue and 60th for all my craft needs. I also ended up finding a lot of things at Target.

Is rag shop just as good in terms of price and variety of items?
