That's a great price. The only thing that makes me nervous about new resorts is construction noise. They are opening in Jan 2008 but you should find out when construction is expected to be finished and add 6 months to that. The last thing you want on your honeymoon is the noise!!! Just a thought.

I did.. liberty travel.. but they couldnt get the rate I got online.. so they had to call the resort itself... the room is called two different things.. the honeymoon imperial suite or the romeo and juliet one bedroom oceanview suite.. im so excited to go!! When do you plan to leave?

Re: quote for st. lucia

so after reading this and looking at the site...we think getting the 2 story villa is not out of the realm of possibilities if we can get it within the 50% off event...so FH is going to talk to in laws and see if they can help us because 7,000 is a big nugget to drop all at once and with the RH payment due this month and photog and dj needing to be booked between this month and next and invitation supplies needing to be bought...its just too much...but we don't want to neglect HM for last minute either. we shall see

its only that honeymoon deluxe thats being built the villas and all else are done.

Re: quote for st. lucia

thats a really good price - we paid just over $6k and we also stayed 10 days

when you say the regency, do you mean at sandals? we stayed at sandals Grande -
The regency was GORGEOUS, but just be aware that
1. it is literally built on the side of a cliff/maountain so there is A LOT of hills to walk up and down when going to the rooms and
2. the beach was recently washed away in a hurricane - you cannot go in the water there

just thought you should know, because I know I would want someone to tell me - good luck planning!!
