You should definitely check out HotelPlanner.com! It is a site you can use for booking blocks of rooms at hotels. What you do is indicate how many rooms you would like in your block and the locations you would like for the hotel to be near, and then hotels BID for your service!!! Once you receive a few bids you can use the lower bids to negotiate with the hotel(s) that you really want!! It worked for me! The hotel that offered me the highest bid negotiated down in price to the price of the lowest bid I received after I declined their initial bid! I couldn't be happier because the hotel I ended up with is GORGEOUS and was my top choice!!

Hyatt Regency in Hauppauge....absolutely beautiful hotel! It's not official yet...I've been working with my contact there figuring out other details and responded today that I would like to officially book the block of rooms...so I'm just waiting to hear back from her. Hopefully they will be blocked off later today!

yep! I am doing my block now because I want to send out the info with my STDs in May.
