Rabbi Applestone

Has anyone used his services, known anyone who has, or met with him?

Rabbi Applestone

YES!!! I am using him for my July wedding. He is SO NICE!!! Actually, I just heard from a friend of mine who used him that he was in the hospital. I hope he's OK and plan to call him soon. My fiance is Catholic and thought this man was wonderful! We met with him this past summer for an hour at his house to book him. Any other questions? Hope this helps!

Rabbi Applestone - Welllllll...here's my take.

Rabbi Applestone co-officiated our October wedding. Frankly, he was ok. Nothing more. He's a businessman. While he seems to exude charisma when you meet him, it didn't come across at our ceremony. Basically, he didn't leave an impression on my husband and I or our guests like our Priest did. He wasn't our 1st choice, but he was referred by our Priest and Rabbi Rosen (1st choice). It was important to us to have officiants that had worked together before. Out of curiosity, what's he charging these days? :)

Rabbi Applestone - Welllllll...here`s my take.

Do you mean Robert Applestone? If so, he married me and my husband 21 YEARS AGO! Neither of us is Jewish, we found him through a friend. We wanted a non-religious ceremony and he officiated. He was absolutely wonderful. He met with us for a good our and then wrote an eloquent and lovely service. My Mom thought he was so fantastic that he officiated at her (second) marriage later that year!

Rabbi Applestone

Could be the same Robert Applestone. We met with him for 15 minutes. He didn't write anything for us, we wrote him a check for $500. He is very eloquent during his sales pitch but he just didn't make a *great* impression at our ceremony. My wedding day was a business transaction. Very nice to hear that you had a lovely experience with him!
