Rabbi Applestone
Hey there
Has anyone had Rabbi Applestone officiate at their wedding? We are having some anxiety around him. He did not have us sign a contract or send in a deposit . He told FH 'You bring yourself and the bride and i'll bring myself, and we'll get you married.' Everytime FH calls him, his wife answers b/c he's not in, and we have yet to meet with him. Our wedding is 3 weeks away. Then I was talking with my priest and he asked if we've met him. We said no - then he mentioned that he's probably about 87 or 88 yrs old! I am getting nervous that he won't show up.
TIA for sharing anything you know about him - I don't know if we should be looking for another officiant at this very very late point
