Hey guys! I just met Monsigneur Lisante, the priest who is officiating our ceremony. He was AMAZING. He is not like any priest I ever met.
Anyway, we need to decide who will be the rabbi. Monsigneur Lisante recommended either Rabbi Block or Rabbi Applestone. Who should I call first?

We were married last April and had met with Rabbi Applestone... we liked him but a few weeks before the wedding, we got a call from Rabbi Block saying he was going to be the rabbi at our wedding because Rabbi Applestone was sick. We had only met Rabbi Block once before the wedding, but he did a wonderful job, everyone said it was a great ceremony and we were very happy with the outcome. I guess I didn't answer your question, but letting you know that Rabbi Block did a fantastic job. Good luck!

I have been to a few weddings where Rabbi Block officiated, some alone and some with a clergy member of another faith. All were beautiful ceremonies. He is also our Rabbi. He has known FH since he was young. He did his Bar Mitzvah. So I guess we are a little biased, but we would say Rabbi Block. I've never even heard of Rabbi Applestone.

I am also getting married by Monsigneur Lisante and Rabbi Applestone. I have had only great experiences with both of them. I would, however, love some feedback from anyone who has used them. Thanks...
