Hi, I'm looking for a Rabbi to officiate our interfaith ceremony. I have been quoted $350 and $650. Can someone tell me what a Rabbi gets on average for officiating if you are not one of their congregants and the ceremony won't be in their temple? I really liked the Rabbi asking $650 but felt her price was so much higher than the other one. I would like to know if I should keep looking or if the $350 estimate was just very low. TIA!

Re: Rabbi Fees?
I'm getting married by the temple's rabbi and I think it's like $750- which includes the rabbi, cantor and organist. If we wanted to bring in a different rabbi, we'd have to pay the $750, plus the charges for the other rabbi.

Re: Rabbi Fees?
We are also looking for an interfaith rabbi - we have been quoted as high as 750 and as low as 500.

Re: Rabbi Fees?
The temple has a 700 fee for the rabbi and cantor but we wanted to use our own so we have to pay the temple 700 and our rabbi and cantor are doing it for free as their gift to us. Lisa

We're paying our Rabbi $600 for our interfaith ceremony at our reception hall.
