Hi, I need a reform rabbi to perform an interfaith wedding ceremony this Aug. I heard this rabbi is THE rabbi but I'm wondering if any of you have used/booked him? I'd like someone with a bit of personality of possible. Thanks!

I know him!! I taught Hebrew school in his temple for 3 years and he was my 'boss' - he is a great guy, really laid back and down to earth and has a great sense of humor. I havent spoken to him in a few years, I wonder if he remembers me..... Is he still at Oakland Jewish Center?
edited to say that if you're looking for great personality, he is def your guy! You should meet with him

oh good! I am sure you guys will like him - let me know how it goes! And whats really funny is that I am almost positive I saw him in the parking lot of the building where I work in Great Neck a few weeks ago but was embarassed to go up to him to say hi and see if he remembered me lolll

He was our officiant for our ceremony in November. He and his wife are friends with my MIL & FIL. Both DH and I were so pleased with everything he did and said and our guests all commented on what a great job he did as well. If you have any questions, let me know, but I absolutely recommend him!

Is anyone having a reform rabbi and a minister? I need to find one of each sine Im Jewish and my FH is Prodestin. Any suggestions would be helpful :)

he is the rabbi at my temple, he's a great speaker. We are not using him but plenty of people did and loved him. For the girl who asked about a rabbi and a priest, we are using Rabbi Swerdlow and Father Malone. They are a priest and rabbi that work together. FM me if you'd like their info. Rabbi Erlich also has a priest he'll recommend that he works with
