Raffle Winner Scam?

Hi ladies. I got a call from Prestige Weddings saying I won a raffle from a Bridal Expo. They didn't give me details. I'm a skeptic about these things - I kind of think everything I 'win' is a scam lol. Another red flag went up b/c I haven't gone to a bridal expo in awhile. Have any of you ladies gotten a phone call from Prestige Weddings saying you won a raffle?

I did a quick Google search and really couldn't find anything on 'Prestige Bridal' in NY. However, I did come across this article that's worthy of reading. Hmmmm. http://www.weddingbee.com/2006/03/07/bridal-expo-spam-and-scams-part-iii/

PS... I noticed in your post that you also refer to them as 'Prestige Weddings'. THAT seems to be a bonafide company in NYC and Ozone Park. Why not call them yourself and ask about it. Can't hurt. (You calling them is different than them calling you.)

I won the same raffle from a bridal expo I went to last year. I don't trust any of that stuff lol
