Rain on engagenent picture day

I have pics thursday. Took the day off have makeup sceduled and hair being blown out as well as us getting a permit for the planting fields. It's supposed to rain.:( to have to rescedule would be such a pain. Did anyone else have this problem of rain on their day? That would so stink. It's closer to the wedding date then when we got engaged!

Rain on engagenent picture day

That's up to you, but I think if you get a little creative, you could totally make it work! Rain boots, umbrellas and raincoats could make for a really nice shoot, I think, as long as the photographer has the equipment to handle it!

Rain on engagenent picture day

That happened with us. Our forecast was a chance of thunderstorms and 30 mins. before our shoot, it down poured but luckily stopped right before (pics in my album) I called our photographer the day of and they suggested we still keep our appt. just because of the CHANCE of thunderstorms. You really would not know until the day before or day of. Give them a call tomorrow just to see what they say on their end. Keep us posted and keeping fingers and toes crossed that the weather is in your favor.

Rain on engagenent picture day

It poured the day of our engagement photos. Luckily it held out for pictures but everything was wet and I was afraid my pictures were going to look gloomy but they weren't at all. The green in the plants and flowers actually stands out more and I wore blue which my photographer said worked to my advantage too with the colors. I would definitely bring umbrellas and make it work. You might get lucky with the rain too.
