Epics are next Monday and the forecast calls for 60% chance of rain. I'm so bummed. I already emailed my photographer and asked him about a rain date in case we can't swing it. Fingers crossed the forecast is wrong but I'm def having a pity party, table for 1 this morning.

I wouldn't worry about it! You still have a week. The morning of my E-pics the weather called for thunder storms that night and we were taking our pics at 6pm. The forecast ended up changing and we had dry weather. Even if it is cloudy out the pics will still be gorgeous. We had a cloudy sky and somehow our photographer made it look like it was sunny out! He also told us that a cloudy sky is the best for taking pics because then you are not squinting from the sun being in your eyes!

I'm looking a large white umbrellas on Amazon. I might order one in case. I've seen some really cute engagement pics of couples in the rain, so maybe we can swing something. Sunken Meadow has a huge brick building leading up to the beach, and I believe there are covered benches on the boardwalk, so it might not be a total wash.

If we have to reschedule, then I really hope it's soon because I want to use these pics in our guestbook.

Rain on Epics Day
Some of the most amazing pics I've seen have been in the rain! Really artistic photographers use the dramatic skies, reflections on puddles etc to make beautiful photographs!

Rain on Epics Day
Dont worry! It poured right before my epics! I was so upset. It stopped raining in time for us to meet the photographer but I was so worried my pictures were going to turn out gloomy. I was 100% wrong! Pictures are in my album to prove it. My photographer said after it rains, green and blue colors really pop on camera and by chance I was wearing a blue shirt. I was really pleasantly surprised. You could always reschedule but if not, they will still come out great. :)
