If you girls plan on taking pictures outside, where do you plan on going in case it rains? Our venue doesn't really have an area inside to take pics so if it rains we need a game plan.
Ideas?

Re: Rain Plans
I need to think of a backup plan for this as well.
I may find someplace en route to the RH that if it looks like rain we can go to that location instead.

Re: Rain Plans
I have no idea!! I know you can't control the weather but pictures are super important to me and I'll be SO PISSED if it's raining!
I was thinking of taking pictures in Northport village anyway (my FSIL and they were amazing) and there's a gazebo, so if it's raining (God forbid!!) maybe I'll umbrella everyone up and we'll run over to it

Re: Rain Plans
I feel like a part of me (if it's not raining too hard - like a light drizzle) would want to take some pics out in the rain though. Like I would get my girls cute umbrellas and we can make a fun photo out of it. But only if i was in danger of looking like a hot mess before i walked into the RH LOL

Re: Rain Plans
ugh, i have no idea
I realllllly wanted to go to Old Westbury Gardens bc I love the mansion pics there but my hall is in patchogue
my other thought was Holtsville Ecology Site, bc their arboretum has a dome over it, so its really inside. Ive never seen it, my mom has and she said it was really pretty...this way you get, outdoor looking photos, gardens etc even if it rains

Re: Rain Plans
i think i may call a few vineyards (raphael and pellegrini) to see if we can grab some shots in their wine cellar that day if it's raining....maybe even if it's not. i just need to figure out timing since the traffic can get a little backed up out there

i'm hoping it doesn't rain because if not, we really have no where to take pics! we can get some shots inside the RH but not many

I'm pretty sure the inside is ok to use. I didn't even think of that!

Re: Rain Plans
We will just take pics inside. I've been inside at Holtsville. It's small, it's basically a bunch of plants. I think there is a little waterfall. I'm not sure it makes for the best pictures unless you have a very talented photographer. You would have to make sure the ceiling isn't in the shots. Take a trip down there and check it out for yourself. It's free to go.
