so DH and I received one check for $234 .... how weird is that?!?!?!
only reason i can think of is that it's a multiple of 18 (a really important number in Judaism) ... but i've never ever heard of anyone giving that for a wedding (just for bar / bat mizvahs)

I got a few checks for 501.10, because that was the date we got married. I also got some with change, and a not explaining that the person liked to have a full dollar amount in their check book and gave me the change. LOL
