Random Political Question...

So I was talking today at lunch with some coworkers about Barack and how happy everyone is that he is in office and that George Bush is gone.

It got me thinking--what did George Bush do that made everyone hate him on such a personal level? I was thinking, he hasn't really done anything thats changed my life on a day-to-day basis.

I'm not trying to start drama here, I'm hoping we can all have an intelligent discussion about this.

Does anyone have an answer?

Couldnt have said it better myself. Lets not even talk about the economy.

THere are so many things he has done and not done...
The economy for one...every time i turn around someone else has lost their job including a lot of girls or their FH/DHs on this site..
womens' rights for another....he is against them...
he is even against birth control and insurance cos paying for it....
forcing schools to adhere to laws like NCLB then not funding these laws and making the schools still accountable, thereby tying their hands and making them look as if they are failing our students. He sets them up for failure because he wants to push his voucher system...
the global warming issue...everyone knows about it, yet Bush did nothing about it....he refused to attend a major conference that many other countries attended because he said that it would 'be bad for businesses'....he contunued to allow huge corporations which bankrolled his campaign to pollute the air and increase emissions...this country is second only to China in the amount of pollution that is pumped into the air!
healthcare...people's healthcare costs have gone up way more than their salaries have and many people are uninsured-which means that one big illness would completely bankrupt them!!! Bush has promoted healthcare as a for-profit industry at the expense of the middle class....
Well I think that this is enough for now lol....I am so glad that Obama is president....the very rich have had their president and now it';s our turn. Don't mean to cause drama but...he has the lowest ratings next to Nixon in the history of presidents....and Nixon resigned- and there are many reasons for this!!!!!!!!!!!!!
