Is anyone having certain tables w/ certain amount of chairs, and other different? For example, one of my tables I want to have 8 people, one to have 9, one to have 10, type of thing. Only because it's the easiest way to seat people (so that people are in groups they know)...and also I have enough room to spread them out. Is this a bad idea?

Re: Random Question...
Im sure I will end up having that too... they said its ok and no one will notice the amount of ppl at each table anyway.... they said its easier for u to make the seating arrangements if u are flexible with the amt of ppl u want at each table.

Yes I have it that way. One table has 11 people, while most have 9 people.

Re: Random Question...
I have tables of 10, 11 and 2 tables of 12 It was easier for me this way. Your RH will not say anything you can have it however you want as long as you don't go over the amount of tables that fit in your room

Re: Random Question...
I have a bunch of tables with different amounts. While it cost me more in center pieces it is worth having people being comfortable where they sit!

Re: Random Question...
Oh yeah, our tables are all crazy like that. We have some maxed out at 12, some with 10, some with 9 or 7. But that's the way it made sense.

How did you let them know about it!? On the seating chart sheet?

Yes on that floor plan paper they gave us :) they never even questioned it. Some tables had 12 some 13 some 14 but that's how it fit :)

Re: Random Question...
I have tables that range from 8 to 16 its fine. you arent going to stick 2 random people at a table that has 8 at it just so you have 10!

Re: Random Question...
It's fine. I asked my RH and they told me tables of 10-12 are no problem and I can have up to 6 tables of 13 or 14. I think it's the norm. I'm workin on my seating charts now and the tables are going to be uneven, It's based on the groups
