Random Question

When do you plan on giving your DOJ to your BP as well as their other gifts?

What do you plan on giving them besides DOJ?

I have no idea what I'm giving the BMs but it'll be at the rehearsal dinner (I think most people do it then anyway).

My plan is to give it to them at the RD. Im not sure what else im getting besides doj.

I figured the RD but my conflict was...if you give the DOJ at the RD wont they already plan what jewlery to wear?

I didnt want them to go out and buy something if I was giving it to them..

You have a good point.... maybe let them know in advance that you plan to buy jewelry for them to wear.

DOJ is usually a common gift. My friend told us what jewelry not to wear and thats how we kinda had an inkling. My other friend didn't tell us anything and we kinda just waited it out.

I feel like most of the jewelry that you'd by to wear is pretty versatile and you can always wear again. Jewelry doesn't expire so if they buy something they can always wear it some other time.

You can always drop a hint that you will be buying their jewelry, so they know not to purchase anything.

I am giving my BMs their dresses which is their big gift and tank tops which they will be given when we go BM dress shopping next Sunday, As far as DOJ and I got them compacts too I was thinking the RD. If not then the day of the wedding.

I'm thinking I may just get them earrings and a bracelet. For the weddings I've been in, I've received matching earrings and bracelets for 2 different friends, a pair of earrings from another friend, and a bracelet from another friend. I think it just depends on what your girls are wearing and what kind of jewelry would go best with their look. HTH!

Was planning on giving the gifts at the RD.

Here is what I was thinking so far:
- DOJ
- Lunch coolers (bought on Knot.com sale and going to stuff them with rest of gifts)
- Slippers or Flip Flops(to throw on for dancing at the reception)
- Make up bag

And for my MOH I was gonna throw in a gift certificate to a salon.
