Re: random question LOL
Ive been thinking about it. I know CB works with PWP but Im not sure what services are complimentary and which ones are for a fee, I would love a coordinator if its in my budget of course.

I've known Christine for years! If I do use a DOC, I'll use her but I have to talk things over with my parents and FH first.

Re: random question LOL
I've definately contemplated getting one since the the entire BP including FH and myself will be OOT'ers and I don't want to put any unneeded stress on the family. I think a couple hundred $$'s is totally worth piece of mind.
I've talked with a few but can't meet with any for awhile. However, one that I talked to on the phone has gotten good reviews but I knew wasn't for me. I'm goign to set up a few appointments with some of the other recommended on here and hopefully I find someone who I can click with.
FH, my MOH and mom are all for it, I think they'll appreciate anything that lessens the potential for me to freak out on the day.

Re: random question LOL
I'm not getting one because I rather use the money for something else. Plus I'm very anal and like to be in control so I think that I'd still be worrying about the details if I had one.. so I'm just going to let my sister keep me on track!

Re: random question LOL
lol Mara made me want one! All that talk about having insurance and no worries.. but honestly.. it's just not in our budget and with all my girls, friends, family, around I'm hoping everything works out as expected.. or close to it!

Re: random question LOL
At least with Piece of Cake you do not have to pay it all now, I paid I believe $100 now and the rest is due the day of the wedding.

Re: random question LOL
We got a wedding planner. She only handles certain aspects of the wedding leading up to it. We have her for flowers, and photography. So she helps research florists and photographers, and the schedules the meetings... and then we meet with everyone alone. She's also helping with the 'styling' of the party. So basically i just run all of our decorative idea's by her and she gives me advice on what works and what doesn't. The great thing about it too is a month before the wedding she pretty much takes charge and makes sure everything is in order.
We still have complete control over all the wedding planning.. its just kind of like having an assistant. FI and I both work crazy hours (many nights we don't get home from work until around 10) so its really a big help for us and totally worth the money
