random question on a boring saturday

are there any things you want to do each year for your anniversary? any traditions?

fh and i are getting married on our 5 year anniversary..since we started dating we've always taken an anniversary vacation, which i want to continue, but i think i want to take professional pics each year for our anniversary too-i think it will be a nice way to track our relationship through the years-plus, it will give me the opportunity to try out all the photogs that we're not using for our wedding

are there any special things you plan on doing?

hmm nothing that i've really thought of, but for a special anniversary, I'd like to get an anniversary band. I'm gonna get one row of diamonds for my wedding band and then I'd like to get another of the same ring to wear on top. Also, for our 25th, I think it would be really special to renew our vows. FH's parents did that and I thought it was so amazing!

We don't plan on doing anything too big- just dinner at 'our' restaurant every year and then having a cake and champagne when we get home-this way we can use our cake cutter and toasting flutes every year

we have always just done dinner for our dating anniversary. We'd like to do a getaway for our marriage anniversary each year... if possbile

yeah right - wishful thinking that we'd be able to take a trip each year for our wedding anniversary maybe just for the first and tenth...
