so i was just talking tattoos with my mom, cause my brother's slutbag GF has a DISGUSTING tatto on her boob, it's a giant heart and says 'Forever ____' with a guy's name.

the funny thing is that the name is NOT even one of her 3 baby's daddies. its' someone else, and she always says she's gonna get it covered. but it's still there, and i just can't wait for my niece to be old enuff to read it and say 'who is that?' and then her mom will have to explain what a whorebag she was.

that said---do any of you ladies have a tatto on a part of your body that you soooo wish you had NOT gotten?

I got the baby phat cat tatted on my inner hip.. and it was a big mistake cuz i had my son.. and that cat turned into a TRUEly FAT CAT!

Great thread. I have three, chinese symbols that mean porcelain on the back of my neck that i like... a butterfly on right shoulder which i don't regret BUT i have a dumb *** tiny heart with squiggley lines near it, on the same shoulder as the butterfly... I chalk that up to a DUMB 18YR getting a tattoo.=). One day I'll make it flow better, but I don't really regret them... now exboyfriends lol that's another story

I have two and I don't regret them. One on my back that no one ever sees except for in the summer and one on my ankle that you only see when I have a dress on. But both have a special meaning to me and I love them both.

I have 4. I think I would have completed my lower back differently but I still LOVE it! I have received many compliments on it as well. I am actually itching for more!

nope i got mine when i was 22 so about 7 yrs ago and it had great meaning to me it involves both my grandfathers that passed so i dont think i would ever regret it and of course i got it in a place where it isnt obvious or shown to the rest of the world

wait.. please.. let's discuss the tribal heart with flames I have in the MIDDLE of my right thigh when I was 16... Don't make me post a picture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ETA: it was my very first one.. I went to the tatto place BY MYSELF bc I was feeling rebellious...

ETA Part 2: I don't regret the tattoo.. it's a symbol and a part of me.. and it's RIGHT THERE on my leg!!! All my other Tattoos, I love and I have one on my Ka Cha Cha!!! which is not a map to the nether regions, it's a chinese symbol that represents me and definitely not a wh0re stamp!!!!

Nope, I got 2 and love them both....though one needs to be fixed b/c the azz that did it was just that an azz. But I can cover them up when I want to.

FH and I have matching tattoos that we got about 4 years ago.... not with either of our names though, just two interlocking circles

we don't regret them!

You guys a hillarious!! I just got one on my back covered up with some other stuff and i'm going back to get more in another month. I have 3 others but 1980's kept calling and asking for the one back OH IT WAS BAD!!! but faded enough to easily cover up. You will totally be able to see it in my dress.

These most certianly are interesting stories...and great questions/pov's.

As for me, I have 7 tattoos...Yes Seven and 2 of them are on my right arm - one is from the top of my shoulder and to almost my elbow and the other is from just above my inner wrist to my elbow on my forearm (FH has a matching one and in japanese Kanji's it read's 'Love you Forever' I would'nt get his name or let him get mine but I thought this was a great idea. When my right arm is finished (before my wedding) it will be a full sleeve.

Personally, I have been a tattoo fanatic since I was 18 when i got my first. I knwo alot of people in the business and have always viewed them as a form of art (as long as they are done tastefully and with a talented artist).

I LOVE all of my tattoos and there was a lot of careful thought and planning that went into each one and each one means something special to me in it's own way, from different points in my life.

They aren' for everyone though and they can look and be trashy if put in the wrong location on one's body and/or done by a less than stellar artist.
