OK so yesterday I was watching the 100 best toys countdown on VH1 - which was strangely enthralling, and I realized I wish I still had my E-Z Bake Oven and Snoopy Ice Cone maker. They were awesome. Any toys you kind of wish you still had - for nostalgia or simply due to their coolness factor?

Re: Random - Toys
Oh, EZ bake oven! I was surprised to learn the Rainbow Bright originated from a greeting card.
Am I the only kid who didn't want or have a cabbage patch doll?

Re: Random - Toys
I had one. If I had my EZ Bake oven still I would SO use it - even though it was alot of effort for only a little snack Circuit City sells em and they are updated!
I was surprised how low My Little Pony and Care Bears ranked - those are classic! 80s toys are clearly the best!

whoa - streamlined EZ bake oven? That's crazy.
I have to say, I cannot believe how low Pong was on the list.

OMG< I tried to look up my Holly Hobbie Easy bake oven on Ebay and found an Iron Chef version instead!!!!!!
You know, it was a really sad day when I sat on my Sit 'n' Spin and realized that I was just too heavy to make it go anymore!

I love Candy Land!
Plus I totally bought those little joystick things they sell so I can play pacman and frogger (old school atari versions) on my tv. I told FH I want a real Arcade size PacMan machine one day

Re: Random - Toys
I can see myself trying to explain pac man to my nephew one day - he'll think that we were crazy. As a comedian summed it up, ' We had a game with a circle that ate dots and fruit. And ghosts would case it. Then there was the one with the frog that had to cross the street...'

Re: Random - Toys
I used to have a Holly Hobbie colorforms house that had these windows so when you placed a light behind them and turned off all the other lights in the room, they would glow. I think it was a colorforms...

Re: Random - Toys
my holly hobby easy bake oven (I loved that sooooooo much!)
I forgot what it's called, but I think it's the spyrogira. It had the plastic snowflake type things and different colored pens. You would put your pen in the holes and spin the plastic thing around to make all these designs.
I also miss my Fashion Plates! (hmmm... am I dating myself now?)

OMG!!! I had the Holly Hobbie oven. Haven't seen one of those in years!!!!
I still have my first watch -- a Holly Hobbie wind-up. It still works too. My niece plays with my Fashion Plates (and makes fun of the clothes).
