So I just realized that ANYONE can make a change to a Wikipedia entry? Is that true?

yes, its true.....i even know some people who made their own wikipedia entries about themselves!

Yep, it's true. Some college and high school students were referencing wikipedia (incorrect info!!!) so some schools have banned wikipedia as a 'source' for reports etc.

but if you write something that isn't backed up by facts, they can take it down.

(for example... i read in the paper today that BEFORE they found the body of chris benoit's wife... someone made a wikipedia entry stating that chris wouldn't be wresting because of his wife's death -- since this was posted BEFORE the police found the bodies, the entry was taken down.... interesting, right?)

yeahi heard that too...thats nuts! i think they tracked that persons IP address and was found but the guy claimed that he just thought that was going to happen or some bs like that
