Ranger fans -Sean Avery...

The New York Daily News is reporting New York Ranger Sean Avery was rushed to a Manhattan hospital Wednesday in cardiac arrest just hours after the team's loss.

Avery, 28, arrived at St. Vincent's Medical Center about 3 a.m., according to the report.

OMG really!! I have to go check this out now. I hope he's ok!!!

I just read on newsday.com that he didnt' go into cardiac arrest as reported, but that he lacerated his spleen and will be in the hospital for several days. he will not be able to play for the rest of the season.

Hopefully the Rangers win on thursday to have more of a season!!!

It happened from a hit during the game. He is going to be fine, but definitely can't play.

He will be missed.

There are so many injuries. Betts may not play either because of the puck he took to the cheek.
