Should I be uber-annoyed over the fact that the hotel where I blocked my rooms near my RH (not the RH's own hotel) has STILL not gotten back to me with answers to my questions. . .and I spoke to somebody a WEEK ago????? She promised up and down that she would call back already. All I need to know is 1. whether I can add a couple of rooms to the block (although she RUDELY informed me that NOBODY had reserved in that block yet. . .uhh, DUH, because they have until JUNE and we haven't sent invites out yet!!!) and 2. what the deal is with the shuttle from the hotel to and from the RH.

I would just try calling again...and just kill her with niceness... LOL. Keep smiling ... she can hear that in your voice..lol.. and ask your questions. HAHAA> That's what I woud do at least.

UGHHHH HOTELS!!!!!!!! I had a problem with the room blocking at my hotel too.... I called like 3 times with no call back!!! I would leave messages and NOTHING! I then called to speak to a manager and then wrote the lady an email that I am going to drop them if they keep acting like they dont want my business.... then a funny thing happened- ALL OF A SUDDEN they got on the ball, started emailing/calling, and even made our website in ONE WEEK! Hmmmm... funny after you put fire under their a$$es they start working!

It was just so frustrating that she would barely give me the time of day last week. She obviously sounded busy, so I don't blame her for that, but my first question would have taken her TWO SECONDS to look up on the computer. I guess I do have to call her again later. . .grr.

Okay, so I just got off of the phone with the hotel (again, it's on the same road as RH but not the same property. . .Fox Hollow brides can read between the lines here). Here's what transpired:
1. They told me all about the shuttle from the hotel to the RH when I blocked the rooms, but NOBODY told me that I had to book it in advance. Otherwise, I would have had NO QUALMS about booking the shuttle right then and there. Getting to the RH for the ceremony will be no problem, but going home? That's a different story. My reception ends at 6 pm. . .and there's another party that needs the shuttle from 6:15-7:00 pm. After 10 minutes of arguing with her about how nobody told me about the shuttle reservation, I finally got the shuttle to run from 5:45-6:15. If they don't make the shuttle by 6;15 pm, then they're stuck at the RH until 7 pm. PITA!!!!!!
2. I'm getting a copy of my contract, so that's not a problem. Stupid me didn't make a copy for myself before signing it, but stupid them for not sending me a copy like all other vendors have.
GRR! I am totally not blocking more rooms at this hotel. . .I will block them at another hotel for a (hopefully) cheaper and easier option.
