Rant: Over my wedding

Ugh. After this weekend I'm getting married in 3 weeks and I'm over it already.
I'm over everyone's BS excuses for not handing in their RSVP's or for STILL not knowing if they're coming or not. I'm over making a seating chart. I'm over people injecting their .02 in over EVERY little thing. I'm over my mom being apathetic about everything. I'm tired of being indecisive about my hairstyle. *sigh*
I just want this to be done with so I can go back to being normal again. Hehe.
Ok, I'm done being pathetic for now.

We are almost there. I know these last 3 weeks are going to be stressful but we all need to enjoy it. I am getting married the day before you and trust me I know what you are feeling. I have people who never rsvp either. We called them and still not getting anywhere with that. You need to set aside one night a week for you a your fh and do something fun and do not talk about wedding stuff that night. Someone told me this and it helped them out a lot.

I'm so sorry you're frustrated like this!! Please just try to tune everyone else out. When it's over, it's over, so try to enjoy this time as much as you can, you know? Not only the planning and all the BS is over, but also the excitement and joy of looking forward to the day.

I see what you're saying, though- I've had enough of everyone. I can't believe people have a comment about everything, and I understand about the apathy. Frankly, I was surprised about that from some family as well. I expected everyone to be so excited, and it's like it's just a pain in everyone's butt sometimes. And I'm not on to the RSVP's yet, but I am girding myself for hysteria.

So in short, I can give you all of the nice advise about 'focusing on the good stuff' until the cows come home, but I get you.

Wow, I really came full circle here.

You should make an appointment to try your dress on or if you have it at home, throw it on. That'll make you feel better! Or put on your veil and watch TV. It always helps me remember the end game.

You're almost there, and then when it's over you'll look back and be so happy with the way everything turned out, I know it's a stressful time but don't sweat it, especially your FIL's, they'll get over it. worry about what you need to do and everything else will fall into place. Good Luck!!

feel for you on the rsvp thing so fustrating...not doing the seating chart yet i feel the same as you...but do you think that you will have the wedding blues after? someone said to me at work 'your going to have post wedding stress' from going from craziness to after the wedding quiet....hmmmm not sure
